Vote Easy, political candidate research engine for all 50 states!

 Project Vote Smart made national release of "Vote Easy", on October 15th, 2010. Already joined by the likes of CNN, ABC, CBS, Newshour, The New York Times, and USA Today among more than 1200 others. Vote Easy is a one stop source for researching candidates from any of the 50 United States. Vote Smart President, Richard Kimball exclaims, "This is fact checking on a massive scale and it is not popular with either major party!"  He goes on to say "one Democratic congressional campaign told us the DCCC would withhold their campaign funds if they provided Vote Smart with answers, while the RNCC had one of their attorneys contact us and threaten legal action if we didn't remove their candidates positions on the issues."

With thousands upon thousands of hours compiled into a simple research base, voters can't get it wrong! The site is made for simple navigation by zip code or specific candidates, and you can even answer the same questions asked of your local candidate and compare answers! Can it get any better than that? I recently wrote a brief hub "Vote Smart- Do a little research" suggesting its time for American voters not only to use  their right to vote but to make it an educated one. American isn't what it once was and the world is progressing rapidly. Americans are being blindfolded and distracted from whats going on in "the home of the brave", by special interests and the powers that be. It doesn't have to be that way. I was a spectator for too long, and with the development movements by groups such as "The Tea Party" I'm starting to realize I'm not the only one who's realized the side lines are not the place to be.
